Furnace Room Brewery opened on December 14th, 2018 at 1 Elgin St. Georgetown, Ontario. The town was excited to have it’s own brewery and quickly threw it’s full support behind us.

The word soon spread about the premium craft beer now being brewed here.

The demand led to rapid expansion in production capacity to keep the people from Georgetown and beyond happy.

Over the next 6 months, the brand’s momentum snowballed, resulting in yet another mandatory expansion.

Our product line is centred around our ‘Core Four’ beers are crafted to appeal to the majority of beer drinkers and pay tribute to some of Georgetown’s most iconic landmarks and citizens.  They are; Beardmore Kolsch Style, Wright House Red, Dynamo Cream Lager and the Chicken Man Pale Ale.  Each beer has its own brand identity and features its own unique story. Furnace Room Brewery also continuously creates exciting Seasonals and one-off beers to satisfy even the most discerning craft beer enthusiast.

All of our beers have a recognizable, smooth finish. This is attributable to good fermentation practices, stringent temperature control and top quality water composition. The use of liquid yeasts has  allowed us to creatively enhance each style of beer we produce – resulting in new and unique flavour characteristics. This innovative approach has built us a loyal and passionate customer base.

Since we’ve opened, Furnace Room Brewery has been actively involved in our community. We were the flagship brewery at the Head for the Hills Craft Beer festival in September.  We have also raised and donated money for local charities including: The Darling Home for Kids, Georgetown’s Trek for Tourette’s Syndrome, Jesse’s Journey, Isaac’s Trek for Treats and Food 4 Kids, Halton.
